Safety & Privacy

Security Framework

Safety and privacy are at the core of how every event runs. Every attendee is verified before they arrive, and nobody knows who else is coming until they get there.

Identity Verification

Every person at an event has been verified through a government ID. Background checks are done. In our security records everyone is fully accountable, but that information stays private from other attendees.

Blind Attendee Lists

Other attendees' names and identities are never shared before an event. You will only be told how many people are coming and the gender split. Nothing else.

Photo and Video Policy

Personal photography is not allowed at any event. Any professional documentation only happens with member consent. This is enforced, not just a rule on paper.

Real-Time Monitoring

Trained security staff are at every event. If anything comes up, there is a clear escalation process and you can reach the team directly.

Emergency Response

One tap to alert the security team. Everything is handled discreetly, and the response happens within seconds.

Behavioral Standards

There is a strict code of conduct and it applies to everyone. Any harassment or misconduct means a permanent ban, no second chances.

Data Protection

All event communications are end-to-end encrypted. Your personal data is not shared with anyone. We comply with GDPR and the DPDP Act.

Legal Compliance

Every event is fully licensed, insured, and compliant with local laws. No corners cut.

Insurance Coverage

Full event insurance in place. Medical help is on standby at every event and emergency response is coordinated before anyone arrives.

Enter the Lottery
Every eligible Elite member is automatically entered. Nothing extra to do. The draw runs on a set schedule and always maintains an even gender split.

Receive Your Invitation
Selected members get an invite with the event details. You have 48 hours to confirm. If you cannot make it, just decline and the next person on the waitlist gets your spot. No penalties, no fuss.

Show Up & Connect
Show up with your member QR code. Your identity is checked at the door against our verification record. No names or personal details are shared with other attendees. Just real, verified people.

Frequently Asked

Are events mandatory for elite members? +
Not at all. Coming to events is completely optional. Your Elite membership does not require you to attend anything. Pick what sounds good to you, skip what does not. Declining has no effect on your future eligibility.
What happens if I'm selected but cannot attend? +
If you get selected but cannot make it, just decline and no harm done. Someone from the waitlist will get your spot and your eligibility for future events stays exactly the same.
How is anonymity maintained if identity is verified? +
Identity verification is handled entirely separately from event attendee information. The attendee list is confidential. You will not know who else is coming unless you choose to share that with each other at the event itself.
Is accommodation included in event costs? +
Accommodation is an optional add-on for national and global events. When you register for an event, you can choose to include it. The costs are shown clearly upfront and we work with trusted accommodation partners to keep things smooth.
How are artists and venues selected? +
The artist lineup and venue are chosen by member vote. All Elite members can take part. Whatever the community picks, that is what we go with.
What are the selection criteria for lottery-based events? +
The draw is random and fully transparent. Every eligible member is entered automatically and the gender split is always kept at 50:50. If someone declines, the next person on the waitlist gets their spot.
Can I attend multiple events? +
Yes. You can attend any event that your membership tier gives you access to. Each event has its own draw, and the more you participate, the more chances you have.
What happens if I have safety concerns during an event? +
Trained security staff are on-site at every event. If you ever feel unsafe, one tap sends an immediate alert to the response team. Any concerns are documented and looked into. Conduct violations result in a permanent ban.
Are there refunds if events are cancelled? +
If we cancel an event, you get a full refund. If you cancel after being selected, there is no penalty but the fee is not refunded. Medical emergencies are handled individually with the right documentation.
How is privacy protected from other members? +
All event communications are encrypted. Attendee details stay confidential right up until the event. Photography and recording are strictly not allowed. Your data is never shared with other attendees or anyone outside HOWDDY.
