Howddy Technologies Pvt. Ltd. operates HOWDDY at howddy.co.in. These terms cover how you use the platform. When you submit an application or activate a membership, you are agreeing to what is written here. If anything here does not work for you, please do not sign up.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. The platform is open to individuals aged 18 to 60. You must hold a valid government-issued ID for the country you reside in. You must not have been previously permanently banned from the platform under any identity.
Before you can use HOWDDY, you need to verify your identity through our partner, Digio. You upload a government ID and take a quick selfie. The whole thing takes about two minutes. Your ID is processed by Digio and never stored on HOWDDY servers. We receive only a cryptographic confirmation that the check passed.
HOWDDY operates on an invite-only basis. Every member receives four lifetime invites to share: two for men and two for women. You are personally accountable for the people you invite. If someone you invite receives a permanent ban, you lose that referral slot permanently. It cannot be restored, purchased, or appealed.
Basic: Free forever. No payment required at any point.
Premium and Elite: Charged only when a user is approved to join the platform. Monthly plans are billed each month. Annual plans are billed once per year. Prices are in Indian Rupees and include applicable taxes. No gender-based pricing. No discount codes.
Cancellation: Monthly plans can be cancelled at any time. Annual plans are non-refundable after the first 7 days from billing. Medical emergencies are handled individually with appropriate documentation.
All content on HOWDDY , including design, copy, code, and branding , belongs to Howddy Technologies Pvt. Ltd. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.
HOWDDY is a platform that connects verified individuals. We do not guarantee any particular outcome from using the platform, including matches, relationships, or event experiences. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before any claim.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify active members by email at least 14 days before any material change takes effect. Continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Your privacy is not a product we sell. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and what we do not do with it.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we delete personal data within 90 days, except where retention is required by law (for example, financial records). Permanent ban records are retained indefinitely by design , this is the mechanism that prevents re-registration.

All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Messages use Signal Protocol via XMTP , end-to-end encrypted and unreadable by us. Membership records, ban history, and referral chains are stored on the Polygon blockchain. Bi-annual penetration testing is conducted by an independent security firm.
Cookies are tiny files your browser saves when you visit a site. They help it remember things between visits, like whether you are logged in. We use a small, specific set of them.

No advertising cookies. No tracking pixels. No social media trackers. No fingerprinting scripts. That is not how we operate.
When you first visit howddy.co.in, you will be asked about cookies. If you say yes, we set the functional and analytics ones in addition to the essential ones. If you say no, only the essential cookies go in and the site still works. You can change your mind any time by clearing your cookies and coming back.
You can manage or clear cookies through your browser settings. If you turn off the essential ones, parts of HOWDDY will stop working, but that is entirely your choice. Every major browser has a cookie management section in its settings.
HOWDDY is built to comply with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023. This section explains how we fulfil our obligations under the Act.
howddy.co.in is the Data Fiduciary under the DPDP Act 2023. We determine the purpose and means of processing your personal data. Digio, our KYC partner, acts as a Data Processor for identity verification.
All personal data of Indian residents is stored on servers located within India. No personal data is transferred outside India without explicit consent and appropriate safeguards in place.
HOWDDY does not knowingly collect data from individuals under 18. Age verification is a mandatory part of our KYC process. Any account found to belong to a minor is immediately closed and data is deleted.
If you are not satisfied with our response to your grievance, you have the right to escalate your complaint to the Data Protection Board of India once it is constituted under the DPDP Act 2023.
We will update this section as the DPDP Act 2023 and its rules come into full effect and as regulatory guidance is issued. We will notify active members of any material changes by email.
